Hello guys,

Today we are talking Blogging! I absolutely love to blog the problem is most of the time people do not understand the concept that every blog post in a sense is like an artists piece of work. Every single post should have care and attention put into it. This post is going to list 7 things every single blog post should have to ensure you keep the quality of your posts up at all times on the blog. Without any further adieu lets get started on these 7 steps you should be taking.

Blogging is a beautiful thing and just like any artist special care and time should be given to every single post. By doing this you ensure to keep your readers interested and coming back for more.

The Title Means Everything – When blogging the very first thing you need to ensure is correct would be the title of your post. The title should be a call to action, a question or an answer to a question. Above all else it should intrigue your readers. I will tell you that informational or step titles (like the one on this very post, have a tendency to work very well depending on the type of audience you have).

Be Warm, And Welcoming (The Opening Line) – The next part of a blog post right after your title is the welcome or the info section where you explain what your about to talk about. This section is vital and it is also the section the Search Engines generally pick up for the description of your blog post page indexation so be sure it includes keywords in the sentence you type. This should be warm and welcoming, it should be personal while still giving all the essential info of what this post is all about. Be sure to read and re-read it several times before your go public with a post.

What Media Are You Using? – When it comes to blogging often times including some form of media in the content of your post is a great idea. Media is anything from images, video and even quotes on the subject your discussing. These forms of media are best if laid out about mid-bottom post as to draw the eyes down into the post (it makes people read the page more and essentially stay on your blog post longer).

Do your Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Son! – On every blog post you should try to link to previous posts in your blog, especially if you are writing a series or even re-covering a topic you have covered before. Inner linking is powerful and helpful for your entire blog. Its like the old song “a spoon full of inner links help the search engines go down further in your archives”. Don’t believe me? Try it for a month and see if your traffic doesn’t have a increase! Infact I actually cover other linking methods not too long ago. Check out the how to build good white hat seo links blog post I wrote on the subject! And be sure to comment!

End your post with a question – One of the best things you can do for your blog is end each post with a question asking your readers to comment below. Tell them your going to feature the best comment made in your next post and that you will link to there website (it works).

So what did you think of this blog post? Love it? Hate it? Comment below and let me know if I suck or not!

Hey guys,

Today I want to cover a little bit of a motivational / self help type of article / post. Although the following statements are not always true in every bloggers case, from what I have seen the majority of the time they are true. Be sure to leave a comment below and let us know what you believe.

Self worth is something that is generally Natural in nature. Some people have that internal confidence in themselves and others do not. For those that are not born with it however this is something you can train yourself in.

Having self confidence is just good all the way around (nobody likes someone arrogant but self confidence is sexy and trusting, especially in a business venue).

There are several different ways you can build your self confidence / worth and today we are going to cover 5 of my favorite ones.

The reason I want to cover this topic is simply because I see a lack of it in our blogosphere today. I see the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer and it should be more even. Simple as that.

The five basic tips I have for building your self worth are simple to do.

1. Look in the mirror and talk to yourself.

2. Regularly brain storm and come up with new ideas.

3. Give yourself space and relax (don’t be so anal about everything).

4. If your good at something do it more, your good at it for a reason and others will want to learn your skills, trade / secrets.

5. Tell yourself who, what and when you want to achieve something and don’t give up until you have obtained it. Taking a break to relax is ok but then get right back to it! It’s like working out, you get short breaks in between but then you PUMP harder!

Be sure to let us know what you want us to blog about next, comment, share and send your friends here!

Hello POB,

Today we are going to talk about link building, anyone who is interested in SEO won’t go very long without learning that links decide a lot of how your ranking in the serps will be.

In this post we are going to talk about a few link building techniques that will help you improve rankings and gain traffic which turns into $$$$.

Before we get into the specific type of links you can build I want to first talk a little bit about you’re link profile and how important it is for maintaining quality ranking positions.

A link profile is simply what links you have, how they are linking to you and the amount of each type of link you acquire.

The engines also know when, who and why someone links out so this makes it difficult to create quality in bound links naturally.

It is rare to acquire natural link building, however natural is the best way because it gives you a gauge for how to get even more links!

With that said just remember that a balanced link profile will keep you in good standing with engines. (Plus: Your domain name age will help when it comes to keeping things balanced).

Types of links

Here is a list of several link types that every site and blog should acquire for themselves. This is not an exact science guys, one type will work better for each person but keep it balanced!

Directories – Although its an older technique directory links are still one of the best practices around. These links are relevant and trusted especially the Yahoo Directory, Botw and Aviva Directory do amazingly well! Give them a try today!

Guest Posting – Guest posting could literally be my favorite technique for not only building quality relevant links but also for boosting your traffic to the next level! Just make sure your posts are of high quality, relevant and on topic with where you are trying to get it posted (we will have a post about the perfect guest post soon).

Affiliate Links – Wait, affiliate links? Yes! See its real simple, start an affiliate program and pay people to join your affiliate network. Even if you only get one link per person from this you still got good quality relevant links!

Blog Rolls – Blog roll links are a little iffy and some-what spammy depending on the market you are in. If you are in a non-techie industry then this is easy to get (just email the site owners and offer them some good content to link to, it works every time).

One Page Links – There are a lot of people who will sell you a page on there websites. They will give you access to this page so you can basically do whatever you want to it. The best rankings on the web come from LINKING ROOT DOMAIN COUNT. That basically means how many different main url’s are linking to you.

With all these techniques you should be able to build some kick butt links and keep a nice even profile all the while. Be sure and comment below and let us know some other techniques you really like!
